Our Reservation Guide
(It's a Piece of Cake)

Planning an event can be as exciting (or stressful) as the event itself. It also comes with its own set of to-dos.

Here at Unica Party Rentals, we're all about making this process as easy as humanly possible for you. So, here’s the nitty-gritty of getting your rentals ready and set for your big day.

Getting Started with Your Quote

After kicking things off with a quote we'll need two things from you:

  1. A signed contract

  2. A 50% deposit

This duo secures your rentals, making sure they're all yours for event day. 

 

An important detail: The full balance is due 48 business hours before you pick up (or we deliver) your items. (And if you’d like delivery, our rental minimum is $250, excluding fees.)

Need to Tweak Your Order?

Got a change of heart or a last-minute spark of inspiration? No worries! We're all about flexibility. But, we also need a heads up. 

 

You can make changes to your reservation up to 3 business days before your delivery or pick-up date. (This includes changes to your date, time, address, and  labor removal too!)

 

Just a heads-up: any additions made after 2 PM within 3 business days of your event will need to start a new order and might include a rush order fee. 

 

And we get it, plans change. 

 

If you need to reduce your order after the deadline, here's what to expect:

  • Decreases after 2 PM, 3 business days before your event: 75% restocking fee.

  • Changes within 2 business days of the event: 100% restocking fee.

Cancellation and Postponement 

Life happens, and sometimes plans need to change. 

 

If you need to cancel, doing so 3 business days before your delivery by 2 PM means you can breathe easy with a full refund. But, keep in mind:

  • Canceling after 2 PM, 3 business days before your delivery incurs a 75% restocking fee.

  • 2 business days out, and it's a 100% restocking fee.

 

For postponed events, we’ll hold onto your balance as a credit for your rescheduled shindig. 

 

You must use the credit within the same calendar year, covering any out-of-pocket costs we've already incurred.

After the Party: Missing and Damaged Items

The aftermath of a great party might include some missing or dinged items. 

 

We’ll reach out 2-3 business days after your event to chat about any of these details. If anything hasn't made its way back to us within 7 business days, we'll have to charge the full replacement cost. 

 

And remember, the person named in the agreement is our go-to for any balances, just in case.

Long-Term Rentals 

Thinking of a long-term affair with our rentals? We've got you! These special arrangements are charged upfront and are all yours for the agreed period. One note: Early returns don’t trigger refunds, as we've reserved these items just for you for the entire duration.

A Final Note on Payment Terms

If someone other than you (or an authorized rep) is covering the bill, it’s important to remember that the person listed in the contract is our point of contact for any outstanding balances, should any collection issues or disputes arise.
